A SEAL in Wolf's Clothing (Heart of the Wolf 9) by Terry Spear

With the ultimate alpha male hero—werewolf Finn Emerson, Navy SEAL—bestselling author Terry Spear ratchets up the heat in the new installment in her hugely popular paranormal romance series.

While her brother is away, Meara Greymere intends to play—she just has to find the right alpha male. But when old friend Finn Emerson arrives, she’s horrified he’ll tell her brother what she’s been up to.
Finn Emerson is on the trail of a murderous gray werewolf and fears his friend’s sister is in grave danger. He’s just going to have to settle in and keep the sexy woman out of trouble.

Reviewer: Fashtiona
A couple of months ago, I reviewed Dreaming of the Wolf, the previous book in Heart of the Wolf series which has now just been released this month. I was disappointed with that one and it was a let down to the rest of the series because the main characters had an irritating tendency to read each other minds.

Well, I am happy to say that A SEAL in Wolf's Clothing was an improvement and we get to revisit past characters again as the author returns to a previous pack. With familiar faces, the author once again delves into the mystery genre with the threat of an assassin haunting the pack and their friends. However it is a different pace, we get a faster moving mystery which I enjoyed. As any paranormal genre lover knows, anyone with royal blood will have the mate chosen for them. In this case the author makes the heroine a strong woman who doesn’t want her mate choice influenced by her brother the alpha.

I have to give four stars out of five for this latest book in Heart of the Wolf series. It was a welcome change to the series with the more fast pace mystery which makes up for the disappointment of the last book.
