Dark Frost (Mythos Academy 3) by Jennifer Estep

Summary:
I’ve seen so many freaky things since I started attending Mythos Academy last fall. I know I’m supposed to be a fearless warrior, but most of the time, I feel like I’m just waiting for the next Bad, Bad Thing to happen. Like someone trying to kill me—again.

Everyone at Mythos Academy knows me as Gwen Frost, the Gypsy girl who uses her psychometry magic to find lost objects—and who just may be dating Logan Quinn, the hottest guy in school. But I’m also the girl the Reapers of Chaos want dead in the worst way. The Reapers are the baddest of the bad, the people who murdered my mom. So why do they have it in for me?

It turns out my mom hid a powerful artifact called the Helheim Dagger before she died. Now, the Reapers will do anything to get it back. They think I know where the dagger is hidden, but this is one thing I can’t use my magic to find. All I do know is that the Reapers are coming for me—and I’m in for the fight of my life.

I honestly haven’t read anything by this author before. I've heard of her name, anyone who loves paranormal and fantasy probably has too. So, when this book become available to review on NetGalley I thought what the heck, it's about time I read something by this author and it being a YA book was an extra bonus.

It’s back to school for Gwen Frost the heroine of this series and her friends but it not the start they expected. Secrets will be revealed in this third book and the author does not hold back and no I‘m nothing going to reveal them like some of the other reviews have. Let just say that people's wishes may come true. Nike’s Champion is in for a roller coaster ride this semester.

Now this is the third book in the series and since I haven’t read the previous books I thought I might get a little bit lost with the background and current events. I was happily not lost and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The Greek mythology is an interesting subject and combined with paranormal makes an interesting read . The author has a way with words and it hard to put down I have to give this book 4 stars and can’t wait for the fourth book I‘m hooked on this series.
