Well, this book was a little strange to me. It was like having two stories in one!
It starts in 1776, where the rebels are fighting against the British army and Madelyn, though the daughter of a British man, fights for liberty. She doesn’t want to marry her fiancé, Aaron, because he is an officer in British army, not knowing that he is really a spy.
In 2011, Ryann is a famous movie star who wants a ménage. When a friend sends her a message that one has been arranged for her, she is thrilled. But somehow she ends up in the past and she, under the name of Madelyn, has a night with Aaron and his brother, Thomas.
Will she came back to the present day? Or does she remain in the past forever?
The story was very interesting; I loved the way Ms D.L. Jackson writes it. But I was confused too and it made me a little dizzy trying to follow the idea. It might have worked better to have two books, one based on the past and the other on the present, instead of just this one. I would love to know more about the real Madelyn and I hope that Ms D.L. Jackson decides to write a story just about her and Aaron and his brother. That’s why I give it just 3 stars.

Out of the mists of time, rides a story of espionage, love, and a 1NightStand.
When Ryann Summers, an actress playing the role of Lady Liberty, an Agent in Washington’s Culper spy ring, asks Madame Eve of 1NightStand for a date, a night she’ll never forget—where her identity is kept secret—she gets more than she bargained for.
Now she’s caught in the middle of the American Revolution and between two of the sexiest men she’s ever set eyes on. If she can survive the musketballs and the invading British forces, she just might find everything she’s been searching for—sex hot enough to set the sea on fire.
