Were Blood (Were Legends 3) by Lia Slater

Summary:
Blanca Reble has been captured, yet again, to be used as some Vamp’s blood slave. Now she’s determined to escape her captor’s hold. But Worth isn’t who he seems and the way her body and mind react to his touch isn’t what she’s used to. It should be only a matter of time before their blood bond wears off, but what replaces it is an undeniable connection that Blanca’s never experienced.

Worth Sinclaire has never wanted a blood slave; he never had use for one. But when he sees the injured Were femme shackled in his cousin’s cellar, he purchases her for his own to protect her from a worse fate. Now he has to decide what’s more important—his loyalty to his own kind, or his growing love for a woman his people will never accept.

Hate or hate him not? Blanca Reble has been captured for the second time by vampires and she remembers what she suffered the first time. But the vampire, who bought her, is not typical, he didn’t hurt her, instead he provoked her desire.

Worth Sinclaire doesn’t agree with blood slaves and a lot more of the vampires laws, but when he sees Blanca for the first time, he swears to do whatever it takes to protect her, and later, when he starts to fall in love with her, to love her.

Vampires and Weres shouldn’t be together, but love is stronger than hate.

Third in the Were Legends series, it left me with the expectation of what's to come next. I fell for Blanca and Worth, they should be enemies, but they aren’t. Worth is a strong vampire who knows what is right and wrong. Powerful, passionate, and soooooo hot, he is every women’s dream, and my favorite of Ms. Lia Slater’s masculine characters. I give the book 4.5 stars.

WereSlave (Were Legends 1) by Lia Slater

Summary:
As the Queen of Paqualette, Nayla is forbidden to have a husband or a human lover. Her life is a lonely and disciplined existence, so when she’s given the opportunity to choose a Were from her dungeon as her sex slave, she takes a chance. Werewolves, she knows, are nothing but senseless monsters, but after the one she selects to be her WereSlave turns out to be more of a man than she’s ever known, she must question her beliefs.

As the alpha leader, Mace is responsible for his pack. He’ll do anything to keep them alive, even give into the Queen’s sexual demands. But not unless he’s in control. Turning his enticing captor into the submissive is the only way to show her he’s more man than she realizes. Falling in love is out of the question, but so is leaving her behind.

A faraway land, named Paqualette, is ruled by a queen, Nayla. She, like all the queens of that land, is forbidden to have a husband or a human lover, so they take an Eran as a WereSlave, and she decides to do the same. Nayla takes as her WereSlave the leader of an Eran pack who was captured days ago.

She expected to hate him, because her family was killed by one years ago, but Mace wasn’t like that. Mace Quinton was a powerful and kind man, who was searching for a place to call home for his pack. They started to fall one for each other, when a traitor strikes and tries to kill the queen.

Amazing story, about love and hate. Mace, her supposed enemy protects her while one of hers own tries to kill her. So not everybody who can change into a beast is a best. Excellent characters, full of feelings and intensity, credible story, marvelous style, Ms. Lia Slater has everything that a good writer needs. I recommend her and I've added her to my favorites writers. 4.5 stars

Were Seduction (Were Legends 2) by Lia Slater

Summary:
After living over a century without the touch of a man, Ambria Nogle is surprised that seducing Count Kollens isn’t all that difficult. Unfortunately, falling in love with the Were is just as easy. As an empath, she can see right through Kaige’s brooding façade and into his heart. Now if only she can convince him that her heart is just as genuine.

Kaige isn’t sure what to think of the wicked little witch who’s stolen his nights and captured his thoughts. Their sizzling chemistry dulls his usually sharp senses when they’re together, making him uncertain of her intentions. But soon he finds trusting Ambria isn’t the problem. Falling in love with her is.

In the Paqualette’s kingdom, ruled by king Mace and queen Nayla, the Erans started to live among the humans and witches. Ambria Nogle, a witch, is having an affair with Count Kollens, an Eran, so she can help her coven. But she started to fall in love with him.

Kaige Kollens was kept as a blood slave a long time ago, but he never forgot the pain and torture he felt then. Now, although he has a home to call his, he has decided to keep his heart safe. Yet, he never counted on Ambria, a witch and an empath. And before he can reveal his true feelings, the vampires attack them and he could lose Ambria, this time for good.

Second in the Were Legends series, it's a wonderful sequel to WereSlave. It has Ms. Lia Slater's marvelous style and great characters. I loved Kaige and Ambria, and the story was outstanding. Hot, paranormal, with plenty of feelings, how can I want for more? 4.5 stars, it's one of the best book I've ever read.
