Luz Dryden is a she-wolf who is unable to shift and she's in love with the Alpha’s son. They were together until five years ago, when he finally shifts and his mother convinced her that it would be better to go away and leave Kalyx Hunter.
Now she's come back for her sister’s wedding and her feelings for him are as strong as ever. However, the Alpha, Kalyx’s father, will do anything to keep her away from his son.
It was a short story, the first one of a series. The story line was quite common, but it has some unique parts that made me enjoy the book. I’ve come to love Ms. Shyla Colt’s books, she has a very expressive and fluent style, her stories are full of sentiments and emotions. I will give only 4 stars, because it was too short to give it more, and I’ll check Ms. Shyla Colt’s next release.
