Dark Soul Vol. 2 by Aleksandr Voinov

Summary:
The second volume in the Dark Soul series features the stories "Dark Whisper" and "Dark Night."

In "Dark Whisper," Gianbattista may have broken Silvio's heart and sent him off to the States, but he's still just a phone call away. When Silvio returns from a sex shop with a bag full of goodies, Gianbattista can't resist topping his boy one more time, even if they are 4,000 miles apart.

In "Dark Night," the Russian problem comes back to haunt Stefano, and when a dark encounter leaves him bloody and broken, Silvio knows just the right way to ease his pain.

Dark Whisper
After reading Volume 1 of this series I was left breathless, on a high and waiting impatiently for the second part, and Voinov delivered, although a bit late for my taste. I couldn’t wait to see what would happen with this complex trio of Silvio, Battista, and Stefano. The love, although in a very twisted way, of Battista for Silvio cannot be denied. After the first chapter, phone sex has a new meaning. I've never read anything hotter than the episode between Silvio and Battista and what I like most about it is the psychological side of the scene, the strong hold Battista has over Silvio that even from afar, his voice command can turn Silvio’s world upside down. Even the appearance of Stefano afterwards was part of the sexual charge. Dark Whisper is the unspoken promise between Stefano and Silvio.

Dark Knight
This story kept me on edge for what felt like ages. Even after the suspense of the action ceased, the suspense of feelings and wondering kept going. It’s like a magnet that keeps pulling you into this story and makes you react to the characters. Even Donata was stunning in her grace and courage. The Dark Knight is Silvio, who not only helped Stefano back home, but also helped him get back his self-confidence with his understanding. Now, I have the same dilemma as before with the wait for the 3rd installment.

I give this book 5 stars for the writing, the weaving of the story, and for the unforgettable characters.
